Film test made for image projection quality and aperture plates creation.
This test is made according to SMPTE RP40-2003 recommended practice. It’s printed on colour film stock, as RP40 allows to. The image is printed only on red layer to be similar to B/W films and to assure definition and quality.
This film test is sold per meter o per reel (reels from 60 meters).
1kHz Tone
Film test with optical and Dolby Digital soundtracks containing a 1kHz tone. This test is necessary to align optical soundheads.
The test is printed on colour film stock, with cyan dye analog soundrack. Differently from Dolby cat. 69T (now withdrawn from sales), it is not suitable for old white light soundheads.

Pink noise
Film test with optical and Dolby Digital soundtracks containing pink noise. This test is made for equalization of optical soundheads and for alignment of digital soundheads.
The test is printed on colour film stock, with cyan dye analog soundtrack. Therefore it’s not suitable for old white light readers, as it was for the withdrawn Dolby cat. 69P.
